n September 2016, our beautiful mum lost her battle with Brain Cancer just days before her 58th birthday and less than 11 months after diagnosis.
In 2016 we ran for mum while dad pushed her around the course in a wheelchair. In 2017, Tim and Tegan ran the half marathon while the rest of us walked 6km, this year we are running and walking again in mums memory. Every step will be for mum who would love to be here running alongside us, but cruelly cannot.
The statistics are shocking, the survival rate for those diagnosed with Glioblastoma is low. This needs to change!
Brain cancer kills the MOST Australians of all cancers, however it receives the least funding.
With your donation, the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, founded by Dr Charlie Teo, can conduct more reaseach to find a cure.
Please help so that others do not have to suffer as mum did and as we continue to do.
